Terms & Conditions
Last updated August 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases and bookings made with Hair by Rebecca Training Academy, including online hair extension courses and 1-to-1 in-person training.
By purchasing a course or booking training, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. About Us
Hair by Rebecca Training Academy provides hair extension education and training, including online courses and personalised 1-to-1 training.
In these Terms & Conditions, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Hair by Rebecca Training Academy. “You” and “your” refer to the person purchasing or booking our training.
2. Booking & Payment
All prices are displayed on our website and are subject to change. The price applicable to your purchase will be the price shown at the time you place your order.
Payment must be made in full unless an alternative payment arrangement has been agreed with us in writing.
For 1-to-1 training, your booking is only confirmed once payment has been received and the training date has been agreed.
For online courses, access will normally be provided following successful payment and completion of any required booking information.
3. 1-to-1 Training
Our 1-to-1 training is designed to provide personalised, practical instruction and guidance.
Students are responsible for arriving on time and being prepared for their training.
Late arrival may reduce the amount of training time available and we cannot guarantee that lost training time can be added to the end of the session.
Where a model is required, the student is responsible for providing a suitable model unless otherwise agreed with us.
We reserve the right to modify or refuse practical work where we consider that the condition or suitability of the hair or scalp makes the planned treatment unsuitable.
4. Rescheduling
If you need to request a change to your 1-to-1 training date, you must contact us as soon as possible and, wherever possible, at least 21 days before your scheduled training date.
Requests made less than 21 days before your training date are not guaranteed to be accommodated and will be subject to availability.
We will always try to help where possible, but an alternative date cannot be guaranteed.
Please see our separate Cancellation & Refund Policy for full details.
5. Online Courses
Online courses are provided for your personal educational use only.
Course videos, photographs, written materials, guides, assessments and other training resources must not be copied, reproduced, shared, uploaded, distributed, resold or used to create or deliver another training course.
Your login details are personal to you and must not be shared.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate course access where we reasonably believe that course materials or login details have been misused.
6. Course Completion & Certification
Where a course includes certification, you must complete all required elements of the course before a certificate is issued.
This may include watching the required training material, completing assessments and/or submitting photographs or videos of practical work.
A certificate confirms completion of the relevant training. It does not guarantee employment, clients, income or business success.
7. Student Responsibility
Students are responsible for putting their training into practice safely and professionally.
When providing hair extension services to clients, you are responsible for carrying out appropriate consultations, assessing suitability, following manufacturer guidance and using appropriate professional practices.
We cannot accept responsibility for the results of services provided by a student after their training.
8. Intellectual Property
All Hair by Rebecca Training Academy course content, including videos, photographs, written materials, graphics, guides, logos and other resources, remains our intellectual property or that of our relevant licensors.
You are permitted to use the materials for your own education and professional development.
You must not reproduce, distribute, sell or commercially exploit our training materials without our written permission.
9. Changes to Courses
We may make reasonable changes to course content, materials or delivery where necessary to improve the training or reflect changes in products, techniques or industry practice.
10. If We Need to Change or Cancel Training
In exceptional circumstances, we may need to change or cancel an in-person training date.
Where this happens, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and offer an alternative date or another appropriate solution.
Where we are unable to provide the training and an appropriate alternative cannot be agreed, you will receive any refund required by law.
11. Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
We provide our training with reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control or from the actions or professional decisions of a student after completing their training.
12. Complaints
If you have a concern about your training or course, please contact us as soon as possible so we have the opportunity to resolve the issue.
We will consider complaints fairly and aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe.
13. Privacy
Your personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.
